Moving the steering linkage:

The steering linkage must be offset to clear the left bank of cylinders. Because of the narrow 75 degree Vee, this is easily accomplished by the use of two u-joints, a short shaft and a flanged bulkhead bearing. (The valve cover is black in this picture and a bit hard to see.)
